As Ürgüp's growing population outpaces the capacity of Cumhuriyet Square, our proposal reimagines the urban core through a new axis of interconnected town nodes. Instead of relying on a single central square, this sequential network of dynamic spaces offers diverse functions and experiences, from bustling markets and cultural hubs to tranquil student zones and artisan workshops.

By prioritizing adaptive reuse, we transform existing spaces to celebrate Ürgüp's heritage while integrating sustainable practices and local artistry. Guided by Life Between Buildings principles, our design fosters vibrant, inclusive environments that encourage exploration, social interaction, and community connection.

This innovative approach not only alleviates pressure on the existing square but also enriches the town's urban fabric, creating a resilient and vibrant city center that honors Ürgüp’s past while embracing its future.
